Our area is famous for its spectacular scenery, beautiful unspoilt beaches, and the hospitality of its people.  Ardara is a designated Heritage Town and also a well known centre for the manufacture of Donegal homespun tweeds. The area boasts a thriving tourist trade and social scene, and has been dubbed "The Festival Capital of Donegal" as well as being a designated Heritage Town. If you are hoping to visit the area, we offer you a hearty welcome. If you are from Ardara and are living elsewhere, we hope we can keep you up to date with the goings on from your home parish as often as possible. The Ardara Under-8 panel with their coaches and parents who played Mc Cumhaills on Saturday 4th of September in Ballybofey. The panel visited Arena 7
after the match also as a reward for their efforts during the year. Well done to all.


Martina Barrett, Ros Barrett, Claire Tonry and John Barrett pictured at the fund-raising night in the Tavern on Friday 27th of August for the Hope Foundation. Claire has just returned from Calcutta after spending 3 months working with the street children in the city.

Hughie Gavigan, Noleen Mc Gill and Tony Gallagher present a cheque for €1648 to Marian Bennett for the Charlie Bennett Memorial Fund. The money was raised at the recent fun day at Maghera Beach.



The hardy group of volunteers who took part in the annual cancer awareness walk on Saturday 28th of August from Ardara to Glenties. The walk is organised every year by Pauric Hegarty of Tullycleave and has raised thousands of euro for cancer research in the past few years.



Stephen Mc Cahill and Eamon Doherty present a cheque to Tommy Corr of Glengesh, Ardara after he won the latest Ardara GAA Flotto Jackpot of E4,500 recently.
