I'm looking for some information about a former parish priest in Ardara, Canon John Doherty who died in 1925. Basically I'm trying to find any information about his parents or brothers and sisters. His gravestone says he was born in Letterkenny.

Just wanted to let you know how much my wife and I enjoyed the week we spent in Ardara earlier this month. The town is so nice, the countryside so beautiful and the people so warm and friendly. We especially enjoyed the evenings at the Corner House and the warm welcome we received fom the regulars there.
