Our area is famous for its spectacular scenery, beautiful unspoilt beaches, and the hospitality of its people.  Ardara is a designated Heritage Town and also a well known centre for the manufacture of Donegal homespun tweeds. The area boasts a thriving tourist trade and social scene, and has been dubbed "The Festival Capital of Donegal" as well as being a designated Heritage Town. If you are hoping to visit the area, we offer you a hearty welcome. If you are from Ardara and are living elsewhere, we hope we can keep you up to date with the goings on from your home parish as often as possible. Another fantastic day at the Shows in Sandfield on Saturday 9th of August. Photo shows the crowd who watched Donegal's victory over Armagh on the Big screen. All the photos from the shows can be viewed here

Michelle Watters and Barney Mc Cabe (Ballybay) who were married on Saturday 2nd of August in the Church of the Holy Family. Michelle is the daughter of Shaun and Mary Watters of Tullycleave. The reception took place in the Blue Haven Hotel.

The wedding took place in the Church of the Holy Family.on Saturday 19th of July of Declan Gallagher of Glenties and Siobhan Heena from Crumlin. The reception afterwards took place in the Blue Haven Hotel.(John Mc Connell/jmac.ie)
