Our area is famous for its spectacular scenery, beautiful unspoilt beaches, and the hospitality of its people.  Ardara is a designated Heritage Town and also a well known centre for the manufacture of Donegal homespun tweeds. The area boasts a thriving tourist trade and social scene, and has been dubbed "The Festival Capital of Donegal" as well as being a designated Heritage Town. If you are hoping to visit the area, we offer you a hearty welcome. If you are from Ardara and are living elsewhere, we hope we can keep you up to date with the goings on from your home parish as often as possible.   Congratulations to the Crannóg Buí quiz team who came second in the Garda quiz county final.  The team consisted of Éimear Boyle, Amy Boyd, Shane Whyte and Theresa May Sweeney.  Here they are sporting their trophies and hats.  Thanks to all the supporters and to  and to Donegal Motor Club for sponsoring the quiz.

Congrats to Tamara Payne  who won the final of the Donegal Rose of Tralee on Saturday 29th of March in Letterkenny. Tamara is the daughter of Anna and William Payne of Garrowart.

The children who took part in the Ardara GAA Minor Boards "Ardaras Got Talent" National School Heat on Friday 28th of March in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel.
The Secondary School Heat takes place on Friday 4th of April, with the Grand Final on Friday 11th of April.
