Ardara Parish Council   Meeting in the Community Centre on Wednesday  10th March.  Representatives of each committee are asked to attend.

 

Pilgrimage to Medujorge – 22nd to 29th August.  For details call 9541689 or 087 7456087.

 

Variety  Concert in the Heritage Centre on Saurday, 13th March,  at 8.00 p.m.  Proceeds to the Alzheimers Units at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar and Gweedore.

 

Bord na nÓg, Ard a’Ratha – Under 10 G.A.A. Coaching in the Community Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.

 

The Monthly Meeting of the G.A.A. Club  takes place in Doherty’s on Monday night at 9.30 p.m.

 

Information Fair for unemployed people in the Tara Hotel Killybegs, on Tuesday, 9th March, from 10.00 a.m. until 2.00 p.m.  Government, Community and Voluntary Organisations will be in attendance.

 

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Rosbeg, takes place on Wednesday, 17th March, starting at 3.00 p.m. from the Old Rosbeg School.  Complimentary tea etc. in Joe Molloy’s afterwards, also  goody bags for children. 

Music and Dance, to suit all ages, to follow,

 

Ardara Church of Ireland are holding a Table Quiz, at 9.00 p.m., on Saturday, 13th March, in Nancy’s Bar.  Teams of 4.  (proceeds in aid of local charities),

The Dead

Peter Carr, (nephew of Mary McNelis and Veronica Connaghan), who died in Glasgow on Tuesday.

We pray also for Paddy and Ann Molloy; Maggie Ann and Danny Byrne; Angela Lough; John Gildea; Cassie and James Gallagher and the deceased members of the Gallagher Family, Crucknagapple, whose anniversaries occur at this time.  May they rest in peace.  Amen.

 

The 11o’clock Mass this Sunday is being celebrated with the assistance of the children of Scoil Naisiúnta an Bhreacaigh.

 

An up to date map of the Parish Cemetery is being prepared at the moment.  If you know of any grave that is unmarked, would you please let me know so that it can be included in the current map, so that unused ground can be allocated as need arises.
