C.O.I. Table Quiz
The coast line parishes quiz is taking place this weekend, Saturday the 13th of March 2010. The Ardara round will be held in Nancy's bar on Saturday Night at 9pm. All our five parishes in the group are taking part, and two top teams from each heat will go through to the final on Saturday 27th of March 2010 in the Nesbit Arms Hotel. All are welcome, come out and test your knowledge...you never know you might be a winner!!!!
 
The Rector's Challenge
Rev John is calling on Parishoners, friends and the wider community from Glencolmcille to Lettermacaward to get on your bikes now and start preparing for the Rectors Challenge, which is the cycle run fron Glencolmcille to Lettermacaward. This charity cycle run will be held on the 22nd of May 2010, and this year the charity will be the Care of the Aged in Ardara. If you do not wish to participate in the full cycle, you can join us at any stage. The same weekend, Friday 21st May 2010, the parish is presenting a concert with the Derg Valley Singer's in the Nesbit Arm's Hotel. This promises to be a good weekend in Ardara, so come out and enjoy the fun!!!
 
The Treasure Chest
The Treasure Chest has now been open for several months in Ardara. The shop is situitaed opposite the Church of the Holy Family. We thank all who has helped us in any way. We have been given so many items from members off the public, without which we would be unable to function. The Treasure Chest is run completly for Charity and donations have already been made to St. Vincent de Paul, Guide dogs for the blind, and Stephen Mc Cahill's fund to support anyone who need B&B etc while visiting a sick relative in a hospital far from home.
