Poor Farmers hand over €18,000 to Charities - 28-01-10

Members of the Ardara Poor Farmers Assocation present two cheques of E9,000 each to Brid Mc Gill of Donegal Hospice and Maura Garvey of the Irish Cancer Society. The money was raised at the annual auction held on the 29th of December in Teagues Bar. Members missing from the photo are Malachy Gallagher, Michael O'Donnell, Michael Kennedy, Michael Boyle and Paul Molloy. Winners of the draw held on the night were 1st Prize:Paddy Boyle Liskeraghan (LCD TV) and 2nd Prize (Hi-Fi system) Roisin Mc Hugh, Leaconnell.
