Next Sunday is the beginning of Catholic Schools week. To begin the celebration, the Mass at 11.00 a.m. next Sunday will be celebrated with the assistance of the children of St. Mary’s National School.
Community Notices
The A.G.M. of the Ardara Tidy Towns Committee will be held in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel on Wednesday next at 8.30 p.m. All who are interested in getting involved with the Tidy Town initiative are invited.

St. Shanaghan’s Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society thank most sincerely those who supported their recent Christmas Appeal for Flood Relief in Ireland. €3,931 was collected.
Another disaster of even greater magnitude has happened in Haiti. The stories and the pictures on our T.V. screens are pitiable, and as usual it is mostly the poorest of the poor who suffer. The St. Vincent de Paul collections next weekend will be totally given as a response from the Parish Community to the disaster. Your support please!

The Annual UMBRA Clothing Collection, supporting education in Kitui, Africia, will be taken away on Thursday next, 28th January, between 9.00 a.m. & 12 noon. Venue: The Church Car Park. Further information on the Poster on the Church Notice Board.
If you intend supporting this initiative, please make sure that collection bags are left between 9.00 a.m. and 12 noon on Thursday.
